Nurse Practitioner / Owner
Georgena M. Frias
Georgeana is an experienced Nurse Practitioner who has gained strong medical aesthetic skills based on an understanding of her client’s unique cultural and cosmetic needs combined with a professional commitment to safety and aesthetic medicine. In addition to specialty training in Family Medicine, Georgeana has trained at the Aesthetic Skin Institute for Physicians and Nurses in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and is a member of the AMEN (Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses). Georgeana continues to further her education each year by attending courses and trainings. She received a certificate of training from Dr. Surek’s anatomy course and Dr. Swift’s Masterclass of Advanced Injection Therapy.

This is Georgeana @riomedical Nurse specialized in medical aesthetics in the USA, owner of Rio Medical. Her biggest motivation is to help people feel good and more beautiful. For this reason, she offers high quality treatments at affordable prices.
In her practice, she is experienced with a vast range of products, from applications such as Botox/Dysport/Kybella and dermal fillers like Juvederm/Restylene/Radiesse/Bellafill, to leading edge products and procedures such as Sculptra, Sclerotherapy, CoolSculpting, Ultherapy, Velashape, and Laser Skin Rejuvenation. She has over 20 years of experience in the medical industry, ranging from maternity nursing to home care. She has also been a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner for over 8 years, providing primary care to pediatrics, adults, geriatrics, and woman’s health.
Georgeana is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is fluent in Portuguese, English and conversational Spanish. She has earned her master’s degree in nursing from Regis College, Weston, MA. She is thrilled to dedicate her multicultural knowledge and artistic skills to assist people in improving their self-esteem and overall wellbeing by helping them achieve their individual aesthetic goal.

Sonia Bettencourt
Client Coordinator
Sonia has been with Rio Medical since October 2015. She is our Client Coordinator, Nutritional Coach, and a CoolSculpting/Aerolase LightPod Neo Laser Technician. Sonia is also our contracted Microblading Artist. Having an artistic background facilitated her transition from becoming a skilled craftsman to a creative Microblading Artist. Sonia is fluent in Portuguese, French, English and conversational Spanish. She is the control center of the clinic and does an exceptional job managing client communication and scheduling.
Theresa Frias
Aesthetician
Theresa brings 13 years of Customer Service and Office experience to Rio, providing our clients with the most comfortable and enjoyable visit to our clinic. As an Aesthetician, Theresa’s main concern is healthy skin; however, as an advanced Laser Technician she can help her clients with removal of pigmented lesions, spider veins and a number of other cosmetic concerns her clients may have. She is able to service all skin types with our Cynosure, Aerolase and Soprano Ice Lasers. Along with being a licensed Aesthetician; she is our Body Treatment expert with extensive knowledge in CoolSculpting, Ultherapy, Vela Shape 3, Accent Prime (Ultrasound and Radio Frequency) and Emsculpt.
Jennifer Cabral
Nurse - NP
Graduated Sigma Theta Tau from the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
She received her bachelor’s degree from UMass Boston in Science of Nursing and went on to get her graduate degree from UMass Boston with a focus on Adult and Gerontological Nursing. She has prior experience with a certification in Oncology Nursing and worked as an Oncology Nurse from 2006-2016.
Jennifer is certified in Botox, fillers, and IV nutrition therapy. She has additional experience in performing PRP and sclerotherapy treatments.
She enjoys working, hiking, kayaking, and playing sports. She has been playing competitive volleyball for years. She grew up and lives locally. When she is not at work, she is usually attending one of her three children’s sports events.
Daniele Brandao
Aesthetician
Daniele Brandao is a medical aesthetician . Daniele is native of Minas Gerais, Brazil. She is a wife and mother of two beautiful girls. She has a background in Business management. She graduated in 2017 as an aesthetician from Instituto Flavial Leal Beauty School. She has since gained further education on chemical peels, microneedling, Hydrafacial, lasers, RF treatments, ultrasound technologies, Emsculpt and Coolsculpting, among other treatments. Daniele is bilingual, Portuguese and English; and conversational Spanish.
Daniele also works as a medical assistant, as she is often called upon to assist Georgeana during medical procedures. She has been at Rio Medical since 2018 and we are very happy to have her as part of our team. She wears many hats, and she is always ready to learn and take on new challenges to better serve our clients.
Arianna Ferreira
Front Desk Receptionist
Arianna Ferreira is one of our front desk receptionist . She has been with Rio Medical for about 2 years now.
She is bilingual, English and Portuguese. Arianna hás 2 Beautiful children, Larissa and Douglas.
Arianna is very kind and always striving to do her best. She is knowledgeable of all the services we offer, and makes sure that all the treatments are running smoothly behind the scene, assisting our receptionists any way she can.
We are very lucky to have her as part of the Rio Medical team.
Bruna Müller
Front Desk Receptionist
Bruna Müller is one of our front desk receptionist. She is bilingual, Portuguese and English, and conversational Spanish. Bruna is very kind and polite. She is often the friendly voice you hear when calling Rio Medical. She comes from Recife, one of the hottest cities in Brazil. She has been in the costumer service field for over 15 years. Bruna loves the beauty industry and she enjoys learning everything she can so she can assist our clients understand their treatments and book their appointments accordingly. She moved to USA in 2002. She is a wife and mother of two beautiful children, Stephanie and Anthony. She has been with Rio Medical for about 6 months now , and she has been a great addition to our team.
