Georgeana is an experienced Nurse Practitioner who has gained strong medical aesthetic skills based on an understanding of her client’s unique cultural and cosmetic needs combined with a professional commitment to safety and aesthetic medicine. In addition to specialty training in Family Medicine, Georgeana has trained at the Aesthetic Skin Institute for Physicians and Nurses in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and is a member of the AMEN (Association of Medical Esthetic Nurses). Georgeana continues to further her education each year by attending courses and trainings. She received a certificate of training from Dr. Surek’s anatomy course and Dr. Swift’s Masterclass of Advanced Injection Therapy.

Ana Rita graduated with an associate’s degree in nursing in 2014, obtained her bachelor’s in 2016, and her master’s of science as a nurse practitioner in 2021. She has a dual certification in women’s health and adult/gerontology. With her 12 years of experience in nursing, she has worked in different healthcare settings including long term care, home care, hemodialysis, nephrology, women’s health, and now in aesthetics. She has certifications in injectables, lasers, and an aesthetician license. She continues to study and obtain other certifications to further her knowledge in aesthetics.

Driven by a deep passion for the aesthetics industry, she is currently studying to become a licensed Esthetician to blend her administrative expertise with hands-on clinical knowledge. Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, Bruna effortlessly connects with a diverse clientele, making every patient feel welcome and valued.

Sonia has been with Rio Medical since October 2015. She is our Client Coordinator, Nutritional Coach, and a CoolSculpting/Aerolase LightPod Neo Laser Technician. Sonia is also our contracted Microblading Artist. Having an artistic background facilitated her transition from becoming a skilled craftsman to a creative Microblading Artist. Sonia is fluent in Portuguese, French, English and conversational Spanish. She is the control center of the clinic and does an exceptional job managing client communication and scheduling.
